Visitor Center
Bryce Canyon National Park is open year round. The majority of park visitors come during June to September and are lowest in December through February. The park is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There may be temporary road closures during and shortly after winter snow storms until plowing is completed and conditions are safe for visitor traffic. Road maintenance may require brief closures of individual areas at other times.
Bryce Canyon National Park has some fantastic rock structures and colors for fantastic scenic beauty. Activities to consider while here are but not limited to: backpacking, biking, camping, hiking, photography, star gazing and watching wildlife.

| Moonlight Hike | Hike among moonlit hoodoos. Reservations Required. There is a 320 foot / 98 meter elevation change. Offered three times each month during the full moon. Time: 2.0 hours. |
| Night Skies at Bryce | Learn the stars, planets and constellations. Time: 1 hour. |
| Star Party | Join an astronomer from Hansen Planetarium and view the sky through telescopes. Offered once each month. Time: 2.0 hours. |
Ranger Activities
Ranger / Naturalist programs include scheduled walks, guided hikes and evening campfire programs by rangers. Check bulletin boards in the park for details. Reservations are required for the Moonlight hike among the hoodoos and the Just For Kids Special Program.

| Rim Walk | Stroll along the canyon rim to learn of the park's diversity. Time: 1 hour. Distance: 1 mile. |
| Bristlecone Loop Walk | Walk through a dense conifer forest to exceptional views. Time: 1.5 hours. Distance: 1 mile. |

Junior Ranger Program
As in other National Parks, Bryce Canyon has a Junior Ranger Program for youth ages 12 and under. The Junior Ranger Program really helps the youth get the most out of their visit to a National Park and to become involved as an official Junior Ranger and earn their patch.
